We are happy to quote for fitting anywhere in the UK mainland, just email or post your enquiry with a drawing. The drawing can be as rough or as precise as you like, even scribbled on the back of an envelope, just ensure it contains the following: measurements (metric or imperial) to within 20mm (1”), clearly marked edges to show whether it is A) up against a wall B) against a wall with splashback/upstand, or C) an exposed edge that requires shaping and polishing, and any other details, e.g. sink cut-out, tap hole, hob cut-out etc. We will promptly get back to you with a price.
Once you are happy with our quotation then we will visit to make templates of the worktop, to that it can be manufactured in the local quarry. We will then deliver and fit the worktop – in most kitchens this will take around a day, in larger kitchens it might take longer.
The slate we use is unusually hard and polishes well. Therefore, once it is sealed, it provides a very scratch, heat and stain resistant practical surface.
